Elegant Rustic Cypress Grove Estate House Wedding

The outdoor Cypress Grove Estate House wedding of Mike and Jessica is simply stunning.  This venue has a southern charm with acres of lush grounds to photograph their wedding memories.

Mike and Jessica choose a variety of berry and wine colors and lots of greenery to decorate their wedding and reception.  These colors add beautiful highlights to the lakeside gazebo, brick pathways and moss-covered trees.  Cypress Grove is the epitome of a southern estate house and ideal for the elegant rustic wedding Mike + Jessica were looking for. They couldn’t have chosen a more perfect day to get married.

For their first look, we find a peaceful spot in the rose garden to photograph this intimate moment.  Their responses are absolutely precious.  We also capture many of their just married portraits in this part of the grounds and in front of the grand estate.

Jessica looks radiant as she walks down the aisle with both of her parents by her side.  The brick-paved walkway leads to the gazebo on the shore of Lake Jessamine.  Jessica’s dress, a Hayley Paige ballgown from Calvet Couture Bridal Boutique, has long sleeves with a v-front bateau neckline and a cascading tulle skirt.  The bridesmaids are in different shades of burgundy chiffon dresses.  They all carried bouquets of deep red roses, fuchsia peonies, bright pink veronica, and lots of eucalyptus. The wedding reception is held in the “backyard” of this colonial estate, partially shaded by aged oak and cypress trees.  The tables have rustic accents with gold and red highlights and lots of natural greenery.  It proves to be a stunning setting for dancing under the stars.  Jessica and Mike end their night with a sparkler send off.
