Luxmore Grande Estate Wedding | Michael + Valerie

The Luxmore Grande Estate Wedding of Michael + Valerie has southern charm combined with romantic details.  This plantation venue is situated on the shores of Lake Jessup in Winter Springs, Florida.  Michael and Valerie say their “I-do’s” in front of 100 guests on a beautiful, sunny January day.

Their ceremony is held outdoors, beneath the wedding arch in the Jesup Garden. The arch is wrapped in delicate baby’s breath and white roses.  Valerie’s son, walks her down the aisle which adds a sweet touch to their ceremony.  We take their just married portraits on the picturesque lawns in front of the grand estate as well as inside under the twin circular staircases.

Everyone enjoys themselves in the Grand Ballroom for their reception.  This gorgeous room with its crystal chandeliers and elegant decor make for a truly unique event.   Michael and Valerie end their evening with a sparkler exit.

The Proposal

In Michael’s own words, “I took my sweetheart to St. Augustine, FL.  We visited a historic location called “Mission Nombre de Dios” and walked the historic grounds of the Christian Mission. I noticed “The Great Cross” in the distance and immediately knew in my heart that was the place. As we walked closer I was hoping there would be a tree close by with a nice setting and sure enough there was. We sat down on the bench next to the tree looking out across the water with The Great Cross just behind us. At that moment I knew. I professed my love, got one one knee, and asked Valerie to marry me. She said yes! It will be a place we can always go back to and remember that moment. The Great Cross will always be a beacon of faith and symbol of growth for us.”
