Casa Feliz Wedding | Scott + Katie

A Casa Feliz Wedding is truly memorable.  This Spanish farmhouse, in Winter Park, with its whitewashed bricks and old world tiles is the perfect backdrop for Scott and Katie’s big day.  Their deep purple, lilac and cream details add an element of elegance to this historic venue.

Scott and Katie met “on a street corner downtown!”  The corner of Pine and Rosalind Avenue to be exaxt.  While Katie was “out and about” with her best friend she ended meeting Scott.  “He was a friend of a friend’s friend!”  Funny, but they had an instant connection right there on the street corner.  And since then, Scott says, “there hasn’t been a day that we haven’t spoken to each other. ”

Their ceremony is held outdoors on this perfect February day.  Katie walks along the brick path to the sounds of a harpist playing.  She wears a mermaid style tulle and lace, embroidered gown by Provonias.  It has a halter neckline with lace appliques.  Her attendants are in chiffon flowing dresses of varied purples.  They all carry bouquets of lavender and white roses.

We love the details of a wedding.  There is lots of lace and lanterns and sprigs of lavender.  Also a variety of gorgeous purple flowers.  They have a unique idea for their guest book.  Katie’s mother made a wedding quilt for everyone to write warm wishes on a square.  Guests enjoy eating and drinking and dancing the night away and then have a glow stick and ribbon wand send off for Mr. & Mrs. Safreed.
