I had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay a few years back at a wedding. After that, I had the privilege of photographing not just but 3 of her friend’s weddings. I was so beyond thrilled when Justin + Lindsay asked me to capture their intimate wedding day. Lindsay and Justin’s wedding day really turned out to be everything they wanted it to be. When we asked the bride what their vision for their wedding day was this is what she said…“Simple, Intimate, Fun! We want our guests to feel relaxed and comfortable.”
Eclectic Boho Backyard Wedding | The Ceremony
They 100% accomplished this look! Even though they had a simple boho eclectic wedding, it wasn’t without major details. The bride’s grandmother actually handmade her gown!!
Also, can we please take a moment on their florals? Everything from the bridal bouquet, floral crown, & stunning altar decor was done by the bride’s mom! The different shades of the king protea flower were incredible! The hot pink rose petals looked absolutely stunning down the aisle where the bride would walk down!
The groomsmen all looked dapper in their Men’s Warehouse suits. The groom also sported all American funky socks for a pop to his outfit! The bridesmaids looked oh so pretty in tea length mauve lipstick dresses and beachy locks done by Maydell Rodriguez Makeup, topped with baby’s breath.
Eclectic Boho Backyard Wedding | Reception
The reception also encompassed that fun and light atmosphere the couple wanted for their guests! They mixed brass geometric table number stands, rustic farm tables, and delicate eucalyptus leaves for their guest tables decor. We have to say the lighting also really added that Eclectic Boho feel they were looking for! Lindsay looked like the perfect flower child dancing under the stars as it drizzled with rain – completely unfazed by what most people would flip out over. Needless to say, she didn’t mind that their grand exit would be jumping into the pool with her groom!
