Marlowe and Lee seriously sound like the most fun couple! They are two football enthusiasts who met at a football watching party and instead of hitting it off with Lee first Marlowe made a great impression on her future mother-in-law! Fast forward years later these two decided to get married in a romantic burgundy and gold Italian Club Wedding in Tampa, FL.
The Proposal | From the Bride
“…So I let the dog out back and he goes and grabs the ring then goes and sits in the bathroom waiting for about 5 minutes pretending to go haha. He comes out and asks if I’m ready to go and I said yes let’s get the Uber so I get up and grab my purse and when I turned around he was on his knee. I just remember covering my mouth which was wide open and him saying the perfect words. My dog ran up to him like what are you doing, trying to play. After that we sat and opened that bottle of champagne that he finally got in the freezer when he got home from work. But the even bigger surprise (which is where I lost it haha) is when we got to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants and he said we have a special table out back and we walked out back and my family and his were sitting there waiting for us. I was so excited to be able to celebrate with them.”
Romantic Burgundy and Gold Italian Club Wedding | The Ceremony
Marlowe and Lee had such an elegant yet simple ceremony! The flowers at the altar were the perfect touch to where they would get hitched. Also, e Marlowe’s dress from CC’s Bridal Boutique, was absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle! The back of the dress was simply gorgeous and the embellishment from her gown glittered from the natural light coming in.
Romantic Burgundy and Gold Italian Club Wedding | The Reception
I especially loved their reception pictures! Marlowe’s vision of her wedding really was focused on having a fun dance party reception – considering she is a dancer this made perfect sense! You can really tell through the photographs that their guests had an amazing time. Also, did you catch the groom doing the splits right before he took the bride’s garter off?! I am super impressed and also mega impressed with Marlow’s high kick! Their guests danced the night away as they celebrated the newlyweds!
