Liesl + Richie’s Cypress Grove Southern Estate House Wedding had us all charmed with it’s classic elegance, simple yet stunning florals, and perhaps one of the most adorable flower girls we’ve ever seen!
The Bride
The Bride looked absolutely stunning and effortless in her satin strapless wedding gown. She opted for a whimsy up-do and delicate drop earrings for something sparkly. Her something blue was incorporated in her bridesmaids, flower girl, and her groom’s tie.
Cypress Grove Southern Estate House Wedding Ceremony
Liesl + Richie’s outdoor ceremony was held in the rear of the Cypress Grove Estate House located in Orlando, FL. They got married under the white altar at the estate adorned with dreamy florals. Liesl really wanted to incorporate significance in any detail possible on their big day. The White King Protea flower is native to Liesl’s South African origin – which made the florals all the more special! Along the aisle were galvanized bucket with delicate baby’s breath.
Liesl’s niece, the flower girl stole the show; her adorable bow dress and excitement were too much to handle! I mean it doesn’t get cuter than that!? While most bride’s worry about children not being able to perform on the big day – this cutie certainly outdid herself!
After the ceremony, the bridal party and the bride and groom gathered together for their portraits. The bride looked absolutely stunning and her bouquet was as dreamy as it gets! The groom was all smiles during their portraits. Probably our favorite are the shots of them in the garden of Cypress Grove Estate House. The magnolia’s in the garden, Cypress Grove’s signature white house with green shutters, and shining rays through the canopies of the oak trees is the epitome of a Southern Estate House Wedding.
Cypress Grove Southern Estate House Wedding Reception
The details of this Southern Estate House Wedding were impeccable and had so much meaning! The bride and her mom painted the centerpiece boxes and the table runners were done by the mother of the bride as well! These DIY details were laid across rustic walnut stained farm tables perfect for the southern estate house wedding theme. Succulents adorned each plate with a chalkboard place setting for each guest. The cake table was absolutely gorgeous! The minimalistic two tier cake with sugar succulent flowers was oh so pretty! They even had monogrammed sugar cookies with their last name’s initial to tie it all together.
The reception was held under a tent on the grand lawn of Cypress Grove Estate House. It gave it the cozy yet, relaxed feel being on the lawn. Guests danced all night long and the groom gave an amazing performance while removing his bride’s garter. We must say he was not shy – at all and really owned the moment! The couple also celebrated a sweet moment of a family friend’s 45th wedding anniversary. It’s so sweet that they took into consideration their friend’s special day and had their DJ do a shout out to the happy couple!
Last Dance
The bride and groom wanted to share one last dance together alone under the full moon on the brick pavers of the backyard of the Cypress Grove Estate House. They held each other and slow danced to Nat King Cole ‘That’s All’.
We hope you enjoyed this adorable wedding! Keep checking in on us every week as we continue to post all of our client’s fabulous weddings!
