Jason and Kim opted for a unique craft beer inspired wedding at Artisan Alley Garage in Deland, FL. Their wedding had an urban industrial vibe mixed with rustic farm tables, dusty blue & plum colored florals, and their shared love of an iced cold one!
Getting Ready & First Look
This beautiful bride definitely showed off some of her spunk with teal nails, blue heels, and fun vintage styled hair piece for her wedding day look! She chose an elegant Oleq Casini Ball Gown with delicate floral lace overlay and the bride’s favorite detail, pockets! What girl doesn’t like to slip her hand in the pockets of a dress?!
The groom opted for a classic black suit and navy tie for his wedding day. For a vintage touch, he added an antique brass pocket watch to his look. We love the small details of the wheat in his boutonniere to tie into the craft beer theme too!
The bride and groom chose to do a first look prior to the wedding ceremony. We captured such a fairytale moment with the bride walking down a wooden staircase to meet her groom. First looks are so great to get rid of pre-ceremony jitters and really refocuses the couple on the significance on what they are about to do! These two looked so in love seeing each other during their first look!
Artisan Alley Garage Ceremony
This cool outdoor ceremony held place in front of the Artisan Alley Garage doorway in Deland, Florida. It’s distressed doorway made for a really fun backdrop. Wooden rustic barrels with gorgeous baby blue hydrangeas, succulents, and plum tulips softened the look. The couple also wanted their guests to enjoy the moment without any distractions and opted for an “unplugged wedding” with a sign as a reminder. The bride chose her two grandmothers to be her flower girls since they are both widowed and thought it would be a sweet sentiment to make them a part of the ceremony in that way! To keep their guests cool, the couple offered plum colored fans which served to block some of the sun as well. To symbolize their union the couple chose to demonstrate this by pouring colored beads into a vase.
Reception
Before heading into the party the happy new Mr. and Mrs. made a pit stop at Persimmon Hollow and shared their first beers as a married couple! We strolled around the brewery and took some awesome shots of these two cuddling up together before the reception.
This couple’s reception was oh so cool! They definitely made it their own and packed it with details – which we love! Instead of the usual numbered seating chart they picked their favorite brewery names and labeled craft beer bottles with the logos. These beer bottles served a dual purpose as floral centerpiece and a way for their guests to find their tables. The tablescapes were absolutely lovely! Jason and Kim did an awesome job making the tables delicate but still fit nicely in an industrial garage.
Two of our favorite things about this reception was the giant bright yellow industrial fan that looked like something out of a music video and the way Jason & Kim’s table sat right in front of the opening of the garage. It really allowed the natural light to peak through during sunset and made the atmosphere during the toasts extra special (tears definitely shed!). It wouldn’t be as an adorable reception if it wasn’t for some cute babies we caught sleeping during the reception either! These two looked like they sure enjoyed their dances and closed the evening with a dazzling sparkler grand exit.
