Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding
Diana + Carlos made me completely just sigh and aww as I read their questionnaires to get to know them a bit better! These high school sweethearts started off as friends when they were just sixteen and watched their “friendship blossom” as the groom put it and are now officially Mr. and Mrs.! Their fairytale day was filled with pretty blush roses, ivory hydrangeas, and glam touches of gold. Their Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding may have had a little rain as well – but as you can see in the pictures it just made it all the more romantic!
The Proposal As Told By the Bride
“Carlos proposed at my favorite restaurant Taverna Opa. He had told my girlfriends to suggest the idea of planning a get together with all our friends since it had been a busy summer. I was all over that quickly without a clue that I was planning my own engagement. We were at the restaurant and they started to play music and asked us to get on the tables. We were dancing, throwing napkins, and having fun. Shortly after we started to sit back down and he was still standing up. I told my friend Bianca “what is he still doing up there?” because it is so unlike him! That is the moment when he got on one knee and proposed!”
Getting Ready
The bride looked oh so pretty in a blush wedding gown from One and Only Bridal Boutique here in Orlando. Not many bride’s would dare venture from ivory or white but she totally rocked this beautiful princess gown! It was a ball gown silhouette dress with lace appliqué and horse hair ribbon on the hem of the dress. Diana looked like an absolute princess in this gown! Her bridesmaids wore antique rose colored dresses to coordinate with her Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding.
The bride was so sweet and gifted them bangle charm bracelets that had “sisters of my heart” engraved in the charms. It was such a cute and thoughtful idea! Karmel Design Team, did such a wonderful job on her hair and makeup. She went for a natural rosy look with shimmery smokey lids for a hint of glam.
The groom and his groomsmen looked dapper in black and white tuxes. Of course to give the guys some pizzaz the groom gifted superhero socks for the fellas to rock on his wedding day!
First Look
Diana + Carlos made time to see each other before their ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! Before their first look though it had started to rain and Carlos (charmer that he is) wrote Diana a letter and sent it off with her a beautiful diamond necklace letting her know their day would still be perfect even if it rained (cue the awwwwwws). And that it was! Rain is totally nature’s way of adding in romance to the day. They curled up under an umbrella and the rain on the floor of the brick pavers gave it an uber romantic feel.
Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held inside of the Royal Crest Room in Orlando, FL. The groom stood in front of a white drapes adorned with blush lighting. The chairs were gold chiavari chairs adorned with blush and ivory roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus along the aisle. The father of the bride looked so happy walking his little girl down the aisle and you can tell his character shined through the images and how funny he was giving his daughter away!
Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding Reception
The reception was in the same room as the ceremony. Blush lighting really tied in the whole look and feel of their Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding. The centerpieces coordinated with the flowers of the bride and ceremony. the table settings were also sweet & simple with gold rim charges, beautiful menu cards, and sweet burlap wedding favors for their guests. Also be sure to check out the groom dancing with his mom!! It’s such a sweet moment between these two; you can really tell they both really let themselves feel the moment.
Carlos whisked away Diana out of their Romantic Blush Royal Crest Room Wedding under the sparkling lights of their sparkler grand exit.
