Orlando Science Center Wedding | Kelsey + Kevin

“This is where the story begins,” an Orlando Science Center wedding with “fun and geeky” themes.  Kelsey and Kevin, neither like to be the center of attention.  This “quirky” wedding (her words)  is their way to share with their guests everything they love.

They get ready at the Doubletree in downtown Orlando.   Kelsey’s gown is an asymmetrical, silk trumpet dress by Matthew Christopher.  Its fabulous skirt has a burst of organza scarves.  Their attendants and groomsmen are all in black.  There’s a striking contrast with the deep red, dark pink and purple flowers, simply gorgeous!

We photograph their first look and marriage portraits outside the Science Center just before the ceremony.  It’s held next to the lake under the shade of an oak tree.  Afterwards, everyone heads to the rooftop terrace for cocktail hour.  It finishes just in time for the sun to set over downtown Orlando.

A reception at the Science Center is shared with the dinosaurs.  T-Rex guards Kelsey and Kevin’s cake of a dragon climbing the castle.  Each guest table has a unique theme of either Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Jurassic Park, Disney, Legos, or Game of Thrones and is cleverly decorated.  Guest favors correspond to the theme of the table.

Kevin and Kelsey enjoy their evening of dancing with their family and friends.
