Highland Manor Wedding | Ashley + Thad
The historic, elegant Highland Manor was the perfect location for the wedding of Ashley and Thad. This beautiful, grand home with its southern charm was just what Ashley envisioned for her Florida wedding.
Since they both have a love of the outdoors, the oak-shaded lawn of this Highland Manor wedding was the natural backdrop for their ceremony. With family and friends watching, Ashley and Thad said their wedding vows with Ashley’s uncle officiating. Their ceremony included closing their wine box with love letters written to each other which will be opened on their first anniversary. After the ceremony, we took marriage portraits on the picturesque grounds throughout Highland Manor.
Ashley was stunning in her ivory, lace from Solutions Bridal Designer House. Her bridesmaids wore light pink dresses. They each carried bouquets of light pink and white roses made by Dream Designs Florist + Wedding Boutique.
Their reception, held in the Crystal Ballroom at Highland Manor, was decorated with a soft, romantic feel. Her colors of pink, ivory, shimmery gold, and charcoal grey are seen in the floral arrangements, candles, the cake and party favors. For a personal touch, Thad and Ashley had photographs of themselves on each table indicating the table number. After a night filled with dancing, they made their exit with family and friends sending them away in a cloud of bubbles. Apollo’s Chariots Inc was waiting with a limo to take them away.
