Orchid Garden Wedding  |  Mary + Landon

The sophistication of the Orchid Garden Wedding venue in downtown Orlando, Florida has the perfect feel for the “speakeasy” era wedding of Mary and Landon.  Orchid Garden, known for its sweeping staircase and grand balconies, is one of our favorite venues downtown.

Mary and Landon had their ceremony on one of the balconies with their wedding party standing by on the staircases and their guests looking on from below. Their portraits were taken in the outdoor courtyard and on Church Street.

Mary wore an ivory, A-line gown from Solutions Bridal.   Her bouquet, designed by Lowe and Behold, was a stunning combination of peonies, anemones, grape hyacinths and ranunculus accented with pheasant feathers .  They added a personal touch to her bouquet, lockets of their dear grandparents photographs who had passed away.   The bridesmaids likewise had beautiful bouquets that were accented by their flowy gowns of light rose, soft lavender and pale pink.

To delight their guests Landon and Mary chose to have a cake bar instead of a main cake.  Mary explains, “I like the idea of multiple, unique flavors for people to choose from.”   Guests also enjoyed Favor Flavors for sharing in this celebration of love.

Mary and Landon made a grand sparkler exit with a limo standing by to take them away.
