Some couples just have a kind of happiness that completely fills a room, and this wedding at The Howey Mansion was exactly that.
From the beginning of the day to the last dance, their smiles were absolutely infectious. The kind of energy that makes everyone around them feel lighter, happier, and fully present in the moment. Even with rain in the forecast and the need to shift to a backup plan, not once did it change the mood of the day.
Instead of stress, there was laughter. Instead of disappointment, there was excitement. And honestly? That says everything about who they are as a couple.
The two shared a sweet and emotional first look before the ceremony, taking a quiet moment together before the celebration officially began. It was one of those moments that instantly settles the nerves and reminds you what weddings are truly about, not perfection, but connection.
Even with the weather adjustments, we were still able to sneak outside for portraits around The Howey Mansion, and it was so worth it. The historic architecture, dreamy grounds, and soft post-rain light created such a romantic atmosphere for their images.
One of my favorite things about this entire day was simply how happy they were. Every interaction, every glance, every laugh felt genuine and effortless. They fully embraced every part of the day exactly as it came, and that joy carried through the entire celebration.
And once the reception started, the energy only grew. Friends and family showed up ready to celebrate these two, and the entire night felt warm, fun, and completely unforgettable.
Rain or shine, this wedding was the perfect reminder that the best wedding days are never about everything going exactly according to plan; they’re about being surrounded by the people you love and fully soaking in every moment together.
