Kurt + Katy | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Kurt and Katy had such a gorgeous Christmas-time wedding at Highland Manor located near Orlando, FL. Their vision for their wedding day was natural but elegant in feel. They kept it feeling warm and cozy with ivory florals, eucalyptus, and touches of gold throughout. Probably my favorite part of the entire design of their wedding day (while there are at least 5!) are the swan details! Katy’s maiden name is Swan so they decided to use them in a number of different ways and can we please talk for just a moment about the Jane Austen quotes.

Details

For Katy + Kurt their first look was the most anticipated part of their big day! Katy looked absolutely stunning and elegant in her Essence of Australia gown from CC’s Bridal. Also, can we just take a minute to admire her gorgeous hair and makeup?! Truly, makes me want to re-do my wedding day and rock a classic red lip. The stunning florals were done by Dream Designs Florist. All the long ribbon detail certainly added to the elegant feel the bride and groom were wanting for their wedding day.

Reception

Okay since technically I had more than 1 favorite – the Christmas tree was such a unique touch to their reception decor! It definitely added that warm & fuzzy feeling Christmas can have on you! Also, there is a shot of Katy’s grandfather who passed shortly after their wedding day. We want to dedicate this blog post to Katy’s grandpa and we sure are glad that he was there for Katy’s special day!
