Thomas Center Wedding | George + Beth
A Thomas Center Wedding is timeless and elegant. George and Beth hold their 1920’s inspired ceremony in Turtle Court with the soft sounds of a cello playing in the background. It’s such a unique area of the Thomas Center with its sunken courtyard, it has a very romantic feel to it. Their reception follows at the Gainesville Garden Club, surrounded by acres of oak trees and stunning gardens.
George and Beth choose a vintage, speakeasy-themed wedding. They’ve chosen gold, ivory and emerald elements to decorate everything. Since Beth has a love of crafting hobbies, she’s handmade many of the details including her bouquet of flowers! She’s so talented!
Beth’s gown is a Yoana Baraschi, Gwyneth dress from BHLDN. It’s off-white, trumpet style gown with embroidered vine patters on tulle. It is so soft, with a relaxed, easy look to it, simply beautiful! Her emerald pumps add striking contrast to her look! The attendants look stunning in their varied styles of emerald knee-length dresses.
The Proposal
With a shared love for the Game of Thrones books, George and Beth have a sweet proposal story. They have a special “I Love You” which is taken from the book. While on the island of Santorini, the sun is setting and there are shades of gold shining on the blue and white buildings. George asked Beth, the “Moon of his Life” to marry him. She answers, yes to”her sun and stars”. So very sweet.
