Disney Grand Floridian Wedding | Libby + Ben

“Right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gave them a fairy tale.”  This perfectly describes the intimate Grand Floridian wedding of Ben and Libby.  They travel all the way from England to have their dreams come true.

Libby and Ben decide on a “retro” Disney theme.  They choose blush pink and gold to create a romantic and dreamy feel.  Libby wears a light champagne colored Justin Alexander a-line gown.  It’s beaded with lace appliques over a sequined lining.  Her shoes have a kissing Mickey & Minnie on the sole.

This “happily ever after” starts at the Villas at The Grand Floridian where they get ready for their big day.  The intimate wedding is at the Wedding Pavilion.  Here they are in a world of their own as their life together begins.  It’s a beautiful, blue sky day and their much anticipated photo at Picture Point is absolutely perfect.

After the ceremony, we head to Whitehall Room & Patio for the reception.   The decor is very vintage Disney.  Their family and friends sit at tables named after a different Walt Disney World attraction, such as Libby’s favorite ride, The Carousel of Progress.  There’s also a Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion table.  The barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans, known for their show on Main Street, USA, sing favorite tunes.  And a caricature artist comes to draw a portrait each guest.  After some dancing, everyone heads outside for a dessert party at Sago Cay Pointe.

This dreamy wedding day has a perfect ending with the Wishes fireworks display!
