Westshore Yacht Club Wedding | Rachel + Jason

The Westshore Yacht Club wedding of Jason and Rachel is magnificent.  This waterfront wedding overlooks Old Tampa Bay.  It has a rustic yet very romantic feel to it.

Rachel’s gown is a gorgeous Pronovias mermaid style dress with a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train.  It has stunning tulle with lace appliques and a pink underlay.  Jason and his groomsmen are in navy suits accented by pale pink bow ties.  The bridesmaids wear gowns in shades of pinks and carry simple bouquets of baby’s breath.

Taking their just married portraits was really fun with this wedding.  They have a ’62 Chevy Impala and we take some amazing shots with this incredible car.  We also find plenty of stunning areas around the marina and along the dock.

Rachel and Jason’s ceremony is outside on the pool deck.  Guests are welcomed by the beautiful sounds of a harpist.  Even though it’s a cloudy day, the pale pinks and navy colors are lovely amidst the grey skies.

The reception is in the dining area of the Yacht Club. The rustic centerpieces include lanterns, candles and baby’s breath flowers, each created by Rachel and her mother.  There are also hand-crafted wooden elements at each table as well as wooden signs that Rachel’s mother made.  This adds a very personal touch to the decor.

Their exit was definitely grand.  The sparklers lit up the night sky.  And then their classic car takes them away.
