We’re the Van Zandts — a laid-back, fun-loving family based in Central Florida.
We document weddings and portrait sessions with a focus on connection, storytelling, and the moments that feel real and unforced. Our approach is calm, natural, and rooted in genuine relationships, allowing images to reflect not just how a day looked, but how it felt.
Led by Ashley, with Jacob supporting behind the scenes, our work is centered on trust, ease, and showing up fully for the people we photograph.
As Orlando wedding and portrait photographers, our goal is to tell meaningful stories from start to finish — whether that’s a wedding day, an engagement season, or a chapter of life worth documenting. We photograph with a focus on honesty and connection, keeping things true to life with gentle guidance when it helps moments feel more comfortable and natural.
The heart of our approach is getting to know you. Your story doesn’t start on a wedding day or with a single session, and the more we understand about who you are — how you met, what you value, what brings you together — the more thoughtfully we can document it. Those details shape the way your story is told and allow us to create images that feel personal, meaningful, and lasting.
We photograph with the intention that your images won’t just live on a screen, but will be something you return to and pass down — a reflection of who you were and how this chapter felt.
Most couples and clients begin by connecting with us over a video call, but we’re always happy to meet in person as well. If you’d like to grab a coffee or a drink and talk through what you’re envisioning, we’d love to connect.

Hey, loves! I’m Ashley Jane — wedding and boudoir photographer, mom to Evie, and wife to Jacob.
I’m a city girl by choice with roots that run a little more country. I grew up in the Midwest on our family farm and spent years co-owning a construction company with my dad and brother — photography was something I was doing on the side until I realized I wanted something more creative, more human, and more aligned with how I wanted to live. So Jacob and I packed up and headed to Florida for a fresh start (side perk: no snow).
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, biking around town, hopping between local breweries, or rearranging art around our house like it’s a mini gallery. I’m a bit of a creative nerd at heart — I love stories in all forms, from books and music to photographs that hold meaning beyond the moment.
Photography has always been about storytelling for me. My grandfather was a landscape and fine art photographer, and some of my favorite memories are looking through old photographs of my mom growing up. Before I knew it, I had a camera in my own hands, documenting everyday life and the connections that mattered most.
That love for story is what still drives my work today — whether I’m photographing a wedding day or an intimate studio session. I’m drawn to moments that feel real, layered, and honest — the kind you want to come back to again and again.
Hey there, I’m Jacob — dad to who I’m convinced is the cutest little girl in all the land, and husband (and forever learner) alongside my incredibly talented wife, Ashley.
I grew up in the country in central Ohio — go Buckeyes — and spent time living in Colorado and Iowa before we finally decided we’d had enough of winter and moved somewhere without it. Zero regrets.
When I’m not working or chasing our kiddo around the house, you’ll usually find me nerding out in one way or another — reading, gaming, building models, or diving into whatever has caught my curiosity lately. I’m especially fascinated by science, particularly physics and the deep, dark wonders of the universe… even if I don’t always fully understand what I’m reading.
Around here, I’m the one handling the tech side of things — from computers and camera gear to the never-ending projects that keep our office and studio running smoothly. I love supporting the creative process behind the scenes and helping everything come together seamlessly.
